Jeremy Husserl is a writer from Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of Portland State University with a BA in English and minors in Writing, Black Studies, and Comic Book Studies. Professionally, he has been an art curator, production assistant, and freelance writer for 10 years. He has been published in various outlets for creative non-fiction, poetry, and artistic analysis articles for multiple publications. He is currently working on his comic book mini-series Airheads with artist Costis Chatzidakis, pursuing his MFA in Screenwriting at DePaul University, and is in the post-production phase of his directorial debut short film “Swipe Right”. He enjoys film, comics, and watching his favorite sports teams win from time to time.
